A little care, for a little companion.
A dry indoor spot and a gentle dusting are a good place to start.
Find a place for it.
Choose a stable shelf, desk or bedside table, away from water, radiators and prolonged direct sunlight. Avoid damp bathrooms and outdoor display.
Keep cleaning simple.
Use a soft, dry cloth and a light touch around the ears, whisker grooves and any bell or cord. Do not soak the figure or use abrasive cleaners. Until the wood and finish are confirmed, we do not recommend oils, waxes or furniture polish.
Move it from the body.
Support the main body when lifting. Avoid picking it up by the ears, tail, bell or cord. When storing or moving it, cushion the projecting parts and prevent the figure from moving around inside its box.
A note on variation.
Grain patterns, color and small carved details can differ between pieces. If a piece arrives with a broken part or a significant crack, that should be assessed as a possible issue rather than assumed to be a natural variation.
