Six centuries of carving.
Chiang Mai was once the heart of the Lanna kingdom — a land of teak forests where monks carved temple doors and spirit houses entirely by hand. That craft never left. In the villages just outside the city, families have passed the chisel down for generations.
Our companions are carved there, in that same unhurried tradition — today from rain tree wood, shaped with the same hand tools, the same patience.
